The Seed Magazine and CISA (Catholic Information Service for Africa ) are initiatives of Consolata Missionaries as tools for evangelization and sharing information within society with all the people of God around the world.

The Seed Magazine was first published in August 1988 and has since become one of the leading Catholic magazines in Kenya. It is meant to promote and nurture the faith for families, students, youth, associations, groups, Small Christian Communities (SCC), church leaders, teachers, catechists, religious & seminarians.
Based on the parable of the Sower (Luke 8:11), it is a tool of evangelization. Ten issues are produced annually, covering the Church in Kenya, across the continent and internationally, plus a wide range of news, especially of a humanitarian nature. The Magazine also offers a colourful Liturgical calendar free to its subscribers each year. Occasionally, The Seed Studio produces other publications and promotional materials.

Catholic International Service Agency
(CISA) was started on February 2001 as an online/email news agency. It was founded as a news service aimed at offering an interactive network of the local churches of Africa, and linking them with the universal church. At present it sends out regular news bulletins by E-mail, twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays with special dispatches on other days. Bulletins are tailored appropriately to the needs and the facilities for the target readers since the intention is to encourage the sharing of news about local and international initiatives.
